Shore Dives

No boat to float? No worries, it's a shore thing! Getting together with fun people at a boat ramp or parking lot or on the shore line, gearing up and having a great dive, and tailgating afterwards is an outstanding way to enjoy a weekend or even a weekday evening after work. A great source of information that we've made use of over the years is a pamphlet titled "Guide To Door County Shore Dives", available from Green Bay Scuba. It contains descriptions of shore dives up and down the Door Peninsula, and some maps to get you started on some great diving. Another good source of information about shore diving around Wisconsin is the Wiscuba forums, and, of course, your fellow divers. Here's some shore dives we've had fun, some very simple and others a bit more challenging.
