Welcome To The Deep Six Dive Site:

If you are looking at this website you must be a diver, interested in diving, thinking of becoming a diver, or know a diver. Read on and feel free to join our merry band of divers and dive buddies.

In our group we have a mix of divers from sport, vintage, rescue, technical, dive shop owner, instructors, and dive masters. The group sports many boat owners so visting the local wreck sites on the Great Lakes can be done weather permitting. We plan as a group all sorts of dives in a range of skills like shore dives, quarry dives, ice dives, and wreck dives as well. All ages are welcome. Our youngest diver is a Open Water at 12 years old. If you're interested in scuba diving and would like to learn more about us, feel free to come to a meeting, or join us on a outing. Jerry (above) is the President of the Deep Six Divers for 2012. Jerry received a Christmas gift from his wife Sue to get certified in diving. He completed his open water certification in the Florida Keys 2002. Jerry went on to his Advance certification which he completed in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He has been diving for many years. Some of his diving adventures include Hawaii, Cozumel, Florida, and of course the Great Lakes. Jerry will be leading the Deep Six Divers to many new adventures in the year 2012.

"I started diving in the UK in 1987, did a lot of coastal dives, wrecks and scenic, but then took a short break of 18 years when I got pregnant. Invited to join the Deep Six three years ago and have had a wonderful time ever since. A great group of people who really do dive for fun. I must admit I prefer looking at the fish than hunks of metal that i do not understand the workings of, but you cannot deny the awe inspiring sight of descending down that line to see the wreck appearing out of the gloom below. Then I go search for the fish :) I have been made really welcome and received so much help and support and encouragement. It's good to be able to give something back and help out. I am looking forwrd to another fun year with the group."
